Pilot-guided surgery ensures the optimal position of the implant without increasing the time required for surgery and the need to use the extensive instruments necessary for fully guided surgery. In the case of pilot-guided surgery, only drilling with an S2.9 drill bit at the beginning of the preparation is performed using a template. The other instruments are then used according to the standard BioniQ® surgical protocol. Further preparation and insertion of the implant takes place with the template already removed. |
