Geistlich Fibro-Gide® is an absorbable, porous collagen matrix. It is specifically intended for use in soft tissue augmentation procedures in dental and maxillofacial surgery in alveolar ridge reconstruction and to obtain soft tissue thickness. Geistlich Fibro-Gide® has the mechanical properties to withstand the mechanical stress that occurs after wound closure during soft tissue augmentation procedures. The matrix provides sufficient space for the ingrowth of soft tissue-forming cells.
