Jihlava Zoo is located near the city center, along the Jihlávka River, and is open 365 days a year. It breeds more than 260 exotic species of animals. It is divided into several expositions, according to the continent or region. Here you will find the African village of Matongo, a tropical or Asian pavilion, the island of Madagascar, the delta of the South American Paraná River, the Himalayas, a piece of the Malaysian landscape, the Japanese park of Hokkaido, an Australian farm, but also a forest trail and grandma's backyard. The zoo offers guided feeding and flight demonstrations of raptors and owls.
