Company profile
The city of Ostrov is a modern residential town situated on the foothills of the Ore Montains - between spa city Carlsbad and Joachimsthal on Bohemia and Germany border. Its rich history is associated with the silver and uranium mining, but also with the production of Škoda trolleybuses, mobile cells, betatrons and, last but not least, porcelain.

The Ostrov Chateau Garden in the Changes of Time – a world of muses and ethereal
The multimedia exposition presents the development of the Ostrov chateau garden in all its five phases. "OSTROV CHATEAU GARDEN IN THE CHANGES OF TIME" Exhibition represents a sequel to the permanent exhibition of the Dukes of Saxony-Lauenburg and the Margraves of Baden in the chapel of St. Anne in the monastery Sacred District, called OSTROV IN EUROPE - EUROPE IN OSTROV (the name Ostrov means Island in Czech). Who were the builders of the garden? What does a baroque garden mean? When did the separate phases take place? From where came the inspiration? How garden actually worked? What makes it so important? Why do we want to tell you all this and share knowledge? The Ostrov chateau garden was once called the eighth wonder of the world. Please accept our cordial invitation to the exhibition!
